Türkiye’s defense sector continues to make significant strides on the global stage, with five of its companies securing spots in the 2026 Top 100 defense companies ranking. This achievement underscores the nation’s expanding prowess in defense manufacturing and exports. Leading the Turkish cohort, ASELSAN climbed to 40th position, up from 43rd the previous year, cementing its place as a formidable player in the industry.
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) followed closely, securing the 48th spot, while ARCA Defense made its debut at 53rd. Meanwhile, Roketsan advanced to 64th from its previous rank of 71st, and MKE rounded out the group at 81st. Collectively, these five companies generated approximately $14.9 billion in defense revenue for the year 2025, showcasing the robust growth and competitiveness of Türkiye’s defense sector.
In terms of financial performance, ASELSAN led the way with $4.46 billion in defense revenue. TAI reported $3.65 billion, followed by ARCA Defense with $3 billion. Roketsan contributed $2.37 billion, while MKE added $1.42 billion to the total. This growth has been propelled by a surge in international demand for Turkish defense products, reflecting the country’s strengthening position in the global market.
Türkiye’s defense industry has made notable advances across various domains, including military electronics, aerospace, missile systems, and ammunition. The latest rankings highlight not only the country’s ability to develop cutting-edge defense systems but also its growing capability to export these technologies worldwide. As Türkiye continues to innovate and expand its offerings, its influence in the global defense market is expected to rise further.
